Martin Mejak x Neža Jurman

Martin Mejak se je rodil se je 2.2.1987 v Ljubljani.
Leta 2005 končal srednjo šolo za oblikovanje in fotografijo, smer grafično oblikovanje in se vpisal na Akademijo za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje, smer vizualne komunikacije, kjer je diplomiral leta 2016 – rad si vzame čas, in stvari naredi tako kot je treba.
Med tem ko ni hodil na predavanja pa je delal kot freelance oblikovalec (2013 s sodelavci dobil Brumnovo nagrado v kategoriji celostnih podob institucij in dogodkov), šel v Kanado izdelovati video igre, in v glavnem dosti čečkal in veliko bluzil.

Nez Pez (Neža Jurman), rojena 1985, je leta 2016 diplomirala na Akademiji za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje v Ljubljani, smer kiparstvo. Leta 2010 je prejela univerzitetno Prešernovo nagrado za projekt Čakajoči in priznanje ALUO za posebne umetniške dosežke. Njena umetniška praksa je zaznamovana s procesualnostjo, multipliciranjem in izdelovanjem nikoli povsem sklenjenih ciklov umetniških del. Njen opus spremljajo ponavljajoči se motivi, ki se selijo skozi različne medije – skozi grafiko, risbo, sliko, animacijo in risbo v kiparstvu. Dejavna je tudi na področju ustvarjanja fanzinov. S svojimi umetniškimi deli se je predstavila v Sloveniji, Italiji, Bolgariji in na Češkem, kjer je sodelovala na številnih skupinskih in samostojnih razstavah.

He was born 2.2.1987 in Ljubljana.
In 2005 finished secondary school for design and photography, graphic design program, and then went to Academy of Fine Arts and Design, visual communications program, where he graduated in 2016 – he likes to take his time and do things right.
While he wasn’t attending classes he worked as a freelance designer (in 2013 he and his co-workers won a Brumen award in the category of visual identities for institutions and events), went to Canada to make video games, and also just doodled and dilly-dallied a lot.

Nez Pez (Neža Jurman), born in 1985, graduated from Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in 2016. In 2010 he received university Prešeren award for the project Čakajoči, and a special achievement award from ALUO. Her artistic practice is marked by processuality, multiplication and production of never completely concluded cycles of works. Her opus is accompanied by repeating motifs that jump through different mediums – print, illustration, paintings, animations and drawing in sculpture. She is also active in the field of fanzines. Her works were exhibited in Slovenia, Italy, Bulgaria and Czech Republic, in solo and group exhibitions.
