Nea Likar je diplomirala na Akademiji za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje, smer vizualne komunikacije in ilustracija. Živi in ustvarja v Celju, kjer vodi atelje Sketch studio. Izobraževala se je tudi na Portugalskem, kjer še vedno sodeluje z umetniškimi institucijami. Deluje na področju znamčenja ter ilustracije za odrasle in mladino, s poudarkom na znanstveni in družbenokritični ilustraciji. Je idejna vodja festivala erotične ilustracije Velvet. Zanima jo odgovornost ilustracije in njena moč pri prenosu pomembnih sporočil.

Nea Likar graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, specializing in visual communication and illustration. She lives and works in Celje, where she runs the Sketch studio. She studied also in Portugal, where she continues to collaborate with artistic institutions. Her work spans branding illustration for both adults and youth, with a focus on scientific and socio-critical themes. She is the founder and creative director of the Velvet erotic illustration festival. Her main interest lies in the responsibility of illustration and its power to convey important messages.
