Tea Jurišić was born in 1991. in Munich, Germany. At the beginning of 2017 she got MA of Graphic Arts. She mostly draw, paint and illustrate, and like to explore new expressions in comic and surrealism, and whether humor belongs in art. Her work is mostly based on watercolor and ink on paper. She is a member of HULU (Hrvatska udruga likovnih umjetnika – Croatian association of visual artists.) and has participated an a few art residencies, such as Glo’ Art (Lanagen, Belgium), Printmaking workshop Sofija (Bogdanci, Macedonia), Artefatto (Trieste, Italy) and Trondheim Gatekunstfestival in Trondheim, Norway. Until now she has had 8 solo exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. Starting from 2017 she had worked as assistant teacher at Academy of Arts in Osijek, Croatia, Master Illustration studies. She is also a winner the latin clasification prize Cum Lauda for the best graduate thesis in 2017.
